CANADIAN UNIVERSITY LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
University language proficiency requirements for international students vary. Most universities in Canada require submission of standardized test scores from either:
· Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
· International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
· Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)
· Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Assessment.

Confirm language requirement details with the university. There is no standardized test for entrance to French-language universities. These institutions determine a student's French skills on a case-by-case basis.
